“Our daughters are royal by birth, princesses here on earth. Their Father is the King of King’s, the father of all living things. He has entrusted these tiny hearts into our care, take it for granted, we do not dare.” - She Who Prays

My little loves to play dress up, always pretending to be a princess, accessorizing herself with a crown. I’ve told her many times that she is a real life princess and why, but today, I felt strongly to remind her once more.

How often do you remind your daughter that she is a child of The King? That she is treasured and more precious than rubies?

In a world that would love nothing more than to tear our daughters down and rob them of their innocence, it is important that we remind them of their worth. Remind them that their worth is found in Christ, not man.

A few affirmations for your daughter found in scripture: they are a daughter of the king, a new creation, a temple of the Holy Ghost, God’s masterpiece, chosen, protected, fearfully and wonderfully made, more precious than rubies, and more valuable than sparrows.

For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

‭‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭6:20‬
